We like seeds. No, we love seeds. They are these awesome little pills of life. There are many uses of seeds, and as scientists, we will experiment.
They grow! We all know this, but it's really fun to take a tiny seed and grow a giant tree. Or even a not-so-giant bean bush. Seed scientists love to experiment with growing seeds. How fast do they grow? What makes them grow better? When experimenting, seed scientists are curious.
They taste good! If you don't believe it, ask any squirrel, edible seeds are packed with energy and nutrients. You noticed the word "edible", did you? As scientists, we know some seeds are not edible, and may even be poisonous! When experimenting, seed scientists are cautious and safe.
They can do so much other stuff, too. Many oils come from seeds. Many spices come from seeds. Seeds can even be made into jewelry. Seed scientists are intrigued.
Ready to experiment? Scientists are always ready! We have three things to do for our experiments. First, plan our experiment. Then, we run the experiment. Finally, we report the results to our peers for peer review. Yep, we seed scientists love to share our experiments and results!
